Professional expertise in developing programming or behavioral management plans for children identified to need stabilization or ongoing treatment of behavioral and communication issues.
Teaching families how to use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children in the home and community. Also provides instructional supports to establish new skills and generalize learned concepts. Coaching sessions include functional communication training, behavior management strategies, and child advocacy.
Direct School Support
Assist special education programs in speech/language evaluations, functional behavior assessments, IEP and program development, and compliance.
